I agree with you. And I am sure some nudist guy thinks the clothing laws seem to be unnecessarily harsh for both men and women in the US.

Yes, and that is the point I was trying to get across. In your original post you said your were surprised that women in Iran had equal access to higher education since they had to cover up. Iran clothing laws should in no way mean they discriminate against women in favor of men. At least not any more than we do over here.
