i encourage those of you who have never been more than fifty miles from your hovels and who get all your input from FO-approved sources to get out more - tune in, turn on, drop from your eyes the fundamentalist veils

Marcos,
yes! will do!

i suspect i am a member of a large crowd that hopes you do the same.

the, yet to be mentioned here, real Canadian problem is the oppressive tax system.
the lumber issue is giving you an excuse to place blame elsewhere. it is outrageous to rant about US lobbyists...when it is your own lobbyists who have persuaded your government to overtax your citizens and use the $ to unfairly subsidize your lumber industry.

you have been pounding this thing into our heads...you have challenged us to look beyond ourselves...yet you only look backwards...you attempt to project yourself as a wise capitalistic industrialist, but your socialist clothing is obvious.

as you take your own advice to, "tune in and turn on", read American history...then go have have a Boston tea party.

your future is in your own hands...but it takes guts, brains and effort to mold a real future...not government subsidies funded by oppressive taxation.

alternatively, give your lobbyists another kick in the butt in the form of contributions...then bleed your people with more taxes to increase the unfair subsidies and overcome the tariff.

this is not a one-sided issue. Canadians have choices.
