Advicor might take sales away from Niaspan, but I think it will add more than it takes away. There will be many doctors who will not abandon Lipitor or Zocor. The attention may get them to add Niaspan. I have been on Niaspan since 1997. My results have been excellent. So good my cardiologist doesn't feel I need to switch to Advicor when available. I may try to change his mind.
