Is it inaccurate too? It better be! Otherwise the statements that Muslims make stating that todays Qu'ran is God's perfect word of God, and its claim that it has been kept inerrant through oral recitation and Arabic language issues are going to go bye, bye!

Duke, the PM cited an Arabic speaking scholar (an Egyptian, if memory serves), I have no reason to doubt the veracity of his statements. It also seems that you are mixing diacritical symbols with vocalization symbols (vowels), both of which are missing in earlier versions of the Quran. Later versions have, as I understand, vocalization symbols (in a different color so as to assure the integrity of the original text).

Do you read and speak Arabic?
