The "erroneous news" was GENERATED by Briefing.com. 17:22 ET Peregrine Sys (PRGN) 15.55 -2.79: -- Correction -- In earlier comment (InPlay 13:07), we cited sources as saying quarter was more back-end loaded than usual. This is not correct. Company called Briefing.com to say that during the CSFB conference today, they said the qtr is tracking to normal linearity with one month to go. Typical quarters track 20-20-60, so at 40% with one month to go, company is tracking with normal linearity. FWIW, this is the second time in less than a week where Briefing has pulled this kind of crap, tho I can't remember who the other "victim" was. K

M2...Chap 11 has arrived for Enron...plus they are suing Dynegy for $10 BILLION...if they get it, that might pay some of the lawyers fees.... dailynews.yahoo.com On PRGN....Nope, I've been out of that one for approx 10 months....had it called away (covered calls) for net price somewhere around $30 as I recall.....it has been sub-$15 serveral times since then, so I guess I can't complain....it's a very volatile, good trading stock though...I probably should have been keeping an eye on it for trading ops, but I haven't really looked at it much since I dumped it.
