Still down in Chicago....Many of us are exploring other alternatives (like DSL or Dishnet Satellite service)...Once we switch AT&T may not ever get us back. This transition off of the @Home network DID NOT have to happen this way. AT&T is a greedy company and fails to carefully watch out for the interests of ALL of their paying customers. I don't mind paying over $50/month for internet access BUT I do expect consistent service. AT&T wants to provide 2 days credit for every day I'm off the broadband network...Big deal...Many of us rely on high speed Internet access for business activities / consulting...IMHO, the Judge should have compelled AT&T to provide at least one month credit to customers for every day they are without broadband access. That might have made them look at things differently. AT&T's brand, reputation, and market share will suffer as a result of its IRRESPONSIBLE behavior...You can count on it.

Scott
