Slideroo! >> da'bung; what happened with those 3 little white soldiers ? <<

Damned if I know Slideroo. I was asked an opinion on shorting BZH. My opinion was NO. The three white soldiers confirmed it wasn't yet time to short BZH. I've already shared my opinion on when I thought BZH was a good short, so I won't repeat myself here.

So, to answer your question, my brother was considering a short on BZH and he thinks I'm the one that sent the three white soldiers to sabotage his plan. You read too much into a humorous message.

When you take yourself so seriously, you miss the intellectual, sometimes facetious humor that goes on here and at HTP. To be a good leader Slideroo, you must learn to live outside yourself. Don't worry, I'll hang in there with you and offer encouragement as you go. Afterall, it's the Lou Holtz thing to do. Wouldn't you agree?

>> I guess this means you've got to go back to the Liberace` school of Candleabra Technical-anality eh ? <<

No Slideroo, I don't have to go back to technical-anality school, I never left.

I'm secretly experimenting with overlaying Bollinger Bands, using different time spans. I'm experimenting with various degrees of moving averages, using different time zones, as I call them, and creating what I guess is called three dimensional charting. WHOA!!! Talk about impressive data! I can actually see the various stages on some stocks where three different groups of investors/traders are actually buying and selling at the same time, at different levels. Wee Doggie, it's impressive.

As I mentioned, I'm still experimenting, I have some more ideas to test. When I perfect it, I'm going to start my very own "pay fer" site where I will be able to issue Gauran-damn-teed picks on a daily basis. The price will be expensive, but the information top notch quality. The price I'm going to charge? You must be a certified and verifiable Yankee hater.

Slideroo, maybe you can help me to understand a few things. You speak about swappin fish tales and back slappin, yet your plagiarized thread is nothing but that. Why is it you couldn't take it here, but you can take it there? Is it because you like the way la Pooch calls you "Big Guy?" Is that what it takes to impress you? We gotta kiss your Chicago butt? Ahhh Geeesh, I thought you were better than that.

And another thing, I read Puplava and Bonner on a daily basis. You do too. Now we both know they have been talking about gold moving up in their recent analysis. Several other analysts and commentators have done the same thing of late. Hell, this months Fortune Magazine has a gold coin on the cover and it's their lead story.

Why is it that you and I can read all about gold's time to move, yet la Pooch wants the credit for the prognostication? Please answer that for me. I'm trying to understand why la Pooch can steal analysis, call it his own, and you don't say anything.

Your kiss-a$$ pal la Pooch is making a big deal out of how he anticipates a move in gold this week and he's tooting his own horn as usual, telling everyone who will listen that he's a PRO.

Slideroo, I'm no PRO. I'm a dumb-a$$ high school drop out and I can tell you the HUI is trending up. Any nin-compoop can pull up the chart, see a strong bullish reversal pattern four trading sessions ago, followed by a confirmation pattern. And now, a couple of days later, la Pooch wants to make the bullish call and take the credit?

Youse guys are too much! <LOL>

OK Slider, let's get serious for a moment. Looking at the weekly chart for the HUI shows a bullish reversal pattern on the weekly, which supports the daily chart.

Most of the indicators haven't turned up yet, but they are lagging indicators. The CCI Indicator which measures momentum, is already turning up which is a good sign, as you can imagine.

If someone is a gold bug, and wants to make the gold play, the charts indicate now is the time to do it.

Please, if it works out, no credit here as none is deserved. All I did was read the map.

Your pal,
dabum

EDIT - I added the Williams %R Indicator to the chart. It works similar to the Stochastic but is more of a leading indicator. Being a leading indicator, it is subject to more volatility. That being said, it's flashing a "buy" signal now. Not yesterday, not tomorrow, but NOW!
