"At least the Israelis recognized their right to exist." In writing only, not by their actions. Also, according to all census conducted in Israel's history, arabs do not exist. They don't count arabs. I wonder why....

That is precisely the problem. What do you do with people who will not condemn unprovoked terrorist attacks on school children? What do you do with people who cheer the indiscriminate destruction of the World Trade Center? I think the PLO even now has not eliminated the clauses in its charter relating to the destruction of Israel........

There's an easy explanation for that. They lost a war they didn't expect to lose. They helped create the problem and turned their back on the Palestinians when the war and the displaced people became an embarrassment to them. They committed multiple errors of judgement which led to the refugee problem and eventually pushed the problem off to Israel.

It's called incompetence!
