Hi, Nadine. Good comment. Absolutely true. The Arabs in this century have again and again scorned their pragmatists, while honoring maximalists who pursue ruinous campaigns for some impossible goal.

Nadine, I don't disagree with your points of view and statements, however, there are many histories and perspectives, always "colored" by what you were taught, who taught you, and how your family and life has been affected. If I knew how to introduce "pluralism" into the middle east, or any other region filled with strife, I would happily offer up a solution.
