Why the terror while Zinni was in Israel? An affront to the US? Why, after the USA has made fairly significant statements favorable to the Palestinian cause? "For that very reason. Appeasing terrorism gets you more terrorism." What did Hamas say after one of their members was killed, with two others, by an Israeli missle last week? They said they were going to retaliate...even before Zinni showed his face. Israel never lets an opportunity to pass to use as a manipulation of events and spin the interpretation for political gain. The PLO states, in response, "If Israel retaliates it will be to destroy the peace process."
