Thank you Jochen. Not quite what I had in mind but a start. I was not suggesting a common structure that all religions could climb onto, but simply an agreement by each religion's representatives to come to agreement on the teachings of the texts of their own religion as applied to modernity. Followed by an agreement to peaceful coexistence between religions.

I don't like the way this one singles out certain countries and political leaders; other than a brief mention of a repressive regime in Kuwait, it dwells not on the Muslim political players. I think such specifics should be avoided entirely, about all countries, and the focus should be on healing the religions themselves.
