For the purposes of your question, Defn:"New Economy Products" - all the web-related stuff 80% of all companies are using now, and 99% will be using later, such as web connectivity, web-based ordering directly or through their suppliers, e-mail with increasingly rich features, convergence of wired and wireless voice/phone, video etc. with the web into the home and business, domestically and internationally ...

All the above uses products from the majors, Msoft, CSCO, and bunches of the minors and not-so-minors, BEA, VERT, and a whole list of others, who will benefit from increased business, just by you getting up in the morning and buying a loaf of bread at the corner store.

I'm not sure what your purpose is for inquiry - is it which stocks to buy and when? Or is it will our economy fall flat on its face vs keep growing ...? FWIW, my think is towards small-cap tech stocks that look to have staying power, and that the economy will go to "da moon", over the next few decades...
