Yes I truly believe Enron will have major impact on this economy more than most people think. You just don't lose 10-50 billions and say it's nothing. Major loses for common shareholders and debtholders. The most hurt will be employees. I hope they take this well and move on. Enron top management should be lined and shot between the eyes. What a bunch of crooks.

Man, that's great. Well, time for rotation of 'leading analyst' role to someone else.

Anytime you have a $15 million/year analyst get shot out of the saddle like Abby will for this, it's another little incentive for other big-shot analysts, CEOs, the SEC and all the CPA firms in the country to watch their butts and look where they can clean up their act.

About time.

Now, if good 'ole Ken Lay went on trial and thence to jail, that would be even more healthy for the financial system...

But - a hundred mill here or there probably will (or already has) buy him a "get out of jail" card...
