The ONE that will kill everything is when the derivative king JPM falls. They are leveraged to the gills! They push things like ENRON shamelessly at every point on the downward fall. When their bets go against them, the financial crisis will be catastrophic.

may you should give more catalysts on why should people buy this overhype and bloated pig just to support management like Enron's and their glamorous lives.

Softechie, I was just making an observation..that is all. I question whether I would have been posting the same article had I been short the market; I don't believe I would; that is just me.
I am just an optimistic in believing the world will sort itself out.

As for the markets, I don't know how it goes. The economic news is going to be key this week. That article I just posted is pretty good. Most will be looking to see how the November data turns out.
NAPM, retail/auto sales etc...basically the November (not the Oct data that is also still being release) that will be key.
My guess is that NAPM will be stronger than expected. Feel the same about retail sales.

Don't know which way this market goes in the coming week or so but the trend is still up. A few more positive announcements in the coming weeks (ie. positive preannouncements) will surely help..and I expect this to happen. Short interest still hitting record levels on both the NYSE and Nasdaq. If the market drops on Monday as the futures indicate, I would be looking for a strong bounce off of a weak open; if that happens, Nasdaq2000 is a VERY easy target near term, IMHO.

FWIW, I think the developments in the middle east this weekend (with the crackdown by Arafat and the Israel military) will lead to some sort of peace, whether we get an agreement between the parties or not. Every government and most citizens must now be getting tired of this.
I think suicide bombings and terrorism will be going out of fashion in the coming weeks and months.

OK..I am an optimist (or dreamer) on the future of humanity.<g>
Maybe that is why I call myself, "NewVision".<g>
