MSI... technological advances will continue, no doubt, as has been the case now for decades. But has prosperity advanced as much?, has it advanced at all in the last 3 decades? Has it actually declined despite the communications revolution?... Check out the trend of the US median family income. There's no way it has kept up with inflation over this period, and that's even with many more women entering the workforce to help support the household.

Look at 1987-1999, a mere $3500 increase in income during the biggest move of the bull market. Meanwhile a select few pocketed billions off the easy money politics- the "moneychangers". The increasing disparity of wealth is not healthy.

So in actuality in the last three decades income has not kept up with the cost of living despite all the new gadgets we have now. So what's going to change this trend going forward?, A cloned workforce to improve productivity? <g>

Meanwhile my dsl has been down since last Thurs and after 7 calls to Bellsouth they are sending someone tomorrow. And now since yesterday I can't access my email with Bellsouth, I called this morning and I guess they are still "working on it"... Maybe they do need clones!
