Dear TP: EXCUSE ME!!! I watch Bush Jr. every time he opens his mouth. I have NEVER heard him say he was HOT TO ATTACK IRAQ. What he has done is indicate that Iraq presents a potential threat as they have the money, the means, and apparently the desire to create weapons of mass destruction, something the UN SECURITY COUNCIL has agreed UNANAMOUSLY that IRAQ was NOT ALLOWED TO DO as part of the FORMAL TREATY or whatever it was called when we STOPPED SLAUGHTERING THE REPUBLICAN GUARD as a result. Bush has said if IRAQ is NOT doing those things they must reopen to the UN investigators AS REQUIRED BY THAT TREATY. If they REFUSE to do so, which is the current case, he has said Saddam will FIND OUT what happens. That doesnt mean he is HOT TO ATTACK it means he believes the rules should be followed. If they are not, he will take the steps to see that they are. We dont know, Saddam doesnt know, and NO ONE ELSE KNOWS what those steps are at this time. JDN
