HeLLo!

I'm loading the greenware today. plan on soaking it for about 6 hours on low as the cool damp weather likes to hang around in the clay. I'll post my firing schedule while in process.

Interesting that you mention whales, and bones. When I lived on the west coast, we use to go to El Capitan beach and collect petrified whale bones. For some reason, this is where a large deposit of them had been found through the years. It's my understanding the native americans knew of it also and would go there to collect it and make jewelry with it.

Well, I have a couple handfuls of them. Once polished up, they have a really nice luster to them. Mostly grays, browns and blacks. That's something I miss. Not sure I'll ever have that opportunity again. decided to share it with youy.

Okay, back to loading the kiln- hoping not to break anything just yet :)
