I think the point people sometimes miss about the Bears is that their defense is first rate. Defense that strong shows up every week, and generally keeps you within striking distance. As a result, they have had a chance to win every game. The only two games they lost (Ravens and Pack) they were close enough to get lucky at the end. Against the Pack they were down 8 and missed by a little on a swing pass that might have led to a TD and 2-point attempt.
