economy was tanking before Bush entered office When does Bush accept responsiblity for what is happening to the economy. Will we still be listening to these lame excuses during the 2002 campaign?

The economy was tanking before Bush
The market fluxuated and recovered during Clinton's tenure, the Russian crisis, the Asian crisis, and the election crisis. Bush has redefined tanking in a way not seen since Hoover. New superlatives will have to be invented since the economy is still shrinking.
