Knip,
Israel, Jordan and Egypt working together could pacify the region, however unlikely this is to occur.
Look what terror has done. 9/11 has ended tourism to the entire area. Egyptian cruise ships sit in port. Christmas in Bethlehem is over. American Jews travelling to Israel is down to a trickle.
In my scheme, arafat could even play a roll as the Palestinian leader within a jordan confederation. Israel must give back the land and the quid quo pro should be death to hamas, hezbollah and islamic jihad. mike
