>"9/11 was not an attack by OPEC or Saudi against the US"

Errr, what were the nationalities of 15 of 19 hijackers?
Where did the bulk of the funding come from? How much funding is sent around the world for promoting hate against the US?
What do Saudi schools teach their children, and their mosques preach against the US?

With "friends" like that, we don't need enemies. Since some in this country (and every country for that matter) need enemies, what better than to support Saudi Arabia.

>"So I guess we are puppets of NATO, South Korea, varius balkan states and any other place were we have put US lives on the line to defend another country??"

These folks didn't fund attacks against US soil.

What happened in SA in the 70's was manna from Allah in the form of unimaginable petrodollars... As that was wasted by stupid Princes using the national treasury as their own piggy bank, the national welfare state that failed to invest in a productive economy experienced disatisfaction when their welfare checks declined, while Disneyland palaces multiplied. The princes looked for a scapegoat: the United States, so they support the "US as Great Satan" line. As long as the US looks the other way and absorbs the abuse, it seemed to work.

There is no question Saudi princes provided enormous support to bin Laden, financial, social and in manpower.

Sure, they were coerced under threats, but the decision is theirs: support the US or extreme Islam. Until they fully cooperate as allies to eliminate the lethal threat to the US, they are enemies. They are certainly not NEUTRAL

WRT the SI SubjMarks, it seemed to fail starting about 3am EST. I saw a post indicating they'll have it fixed "in a couple days", which is too bad, I use it a lot.
