Frankly, I would like to take about 100 square miles of Nevada desert, build a wall around it, and let those who don't want to live in our society by our rules create the society they DO want to live in. We would have to provide humanitarian air drops for a while, probably, but for the most part, they're on their own. And bad riddance to them.

Having slaves means that you will have slave owners. Do you really want to live in a country that condones slavery, regardless of the background of the "slave"? Would you want your next door neighbor to be a slave owner? Would you want to be one yourself?
