I agree-the judge is the biggest culprit. The creditors are well-known scumbags trying to protect their own narrow self-interest, and the management at BI (and ATHM) have been beaten up so often that one more wouldn't even be noticed. Besides, they are all likely to be out of work soon (ATHM when it shuts down, BI when it gets sold off)-how'd you like to be looking for work in this environment with this debacle on your resume? But they guy who should have known better was Judge Carlson, thats Thomas E Carlson, for those of you scoring from home, age 53, a graduate of Harvard Law School and New York University before that. He is the one person here who is paid to uphold the public interest, and paid by us, BTW. I don't have his e-mail address, but if you would like to express your opinion of his opinion you can send it to his chief minion at gordon_hom@canb.uscourts.gov. Or call him at 415-268-2360. If enough of the 800K disconnected do so, he may join us in the appreciation of what it is like to try to function without a working e-mail address!
