I have explained my reasoning, and do not want to be repetitive. On the matter of the dating of the creed, all we know is that the earliest extant manuscript containing the final form is 5th century. The earliest extant manuscript containing it in rudimentary form is from the 2nd century, if I remember correctly. Besides, we have no manuscript of Plato that is more than a few hundred years old, does that prove that he wrote his works in the Middle Ages? Finally, I use the creed as a summary of early Christian belief. Even before it was formulated, I suppose that it was what was taught by the Church.
