I suspect Jones never provided references to anything that he did. Which probably makes him suspect as a source. Anyway, Amazon has references to about a dozen Pershing books, some out of print. Perhaps it is in one of those that are out of print. Looking at "Black Jack: Life and Times...." there is a reference in one review about the Phillipines. That may have it. amazon.com already collected most of the stuff that most readily available on the internet through google, Sometimes I find that using another search engine brings up different links. So if I cannot find everything I would like on Google I try two other engines.
