A third function for the players. Storing a back up data file for transfer or simply back up. I used both the MXP100 and the CHD1000 for ordinary data storage and re-transfer with ease, using Music Explorer.
-----
A side note: I was not successful using Music Match to store/initiate my CHD1000. Don't know why, didn't bother calling support. I eventually used Music Explorer which came with my MXP100. That worked easily. The other was a PIA.
