Okay. Just a question of when you say "If Christ established the Church (which he did through the Apostles, supposedly confirmed at Pentecost)" and then say "one cannot simply turn ones back on the Church in favor of personal religion," the problem is that the present day Church is nothing even remotely close to the Church that Jesus established. Don't forget that his relationship with the Apostles was a completely personal relationship. If you believe that Jesus still lives, why would you settle for anything less?
