AT&T owns 23 percent of Excite and would like to buy the remaining stake.

I read where Excite was trying to negotiate anything with AT&T. Apparently AT&T is trying to destroy them so they can pick up the pieces dirt cheap. I hope they don't succeed. AT&T has made some awfull business decisions lately. Their jumping on the GSM bandwagon just to spite QCOM is another example...they can go to 3G much cheaper with CDMA than the GSM/WCDMA route. But no...they can't do that. I hope AT&T fails.
