I'd be willing to pay a few cents more More like a few dollars more, and if a radical Islamic government took over in Saudi, a few tens of dollars more at least in the short run. It would probably settle back down but still be higher then it was before. BTW - If you wont buy oil from middle east dictatorships, are you also going to boycott items that are made in China, and everything else made in or extracted from area controlled by oppressive governments? What is the latest US estimate on the gas+car+insurance(+rent) cost of living in the inner city and the suburbs?? (not the rural sallad picking suburbs) Latest estimate I heard was $10,000 a year?? How much would SS have to be increased if one could not move to Florida?? Ilmarinen UK has some nice programs to keep elderly above the freezing point when it gets cold?? (just trying to stay within the angloamerican frame) What about the British Termo-something Unit tax?? (from the point of view closer to the north pole) sgo.fi Fairly warm, will get warmer with more CO2 sgo.fi Btw, Sodankylä = The Village of War (Sounds sexy?? great for tourism??)
