Moses might probably have been similarly smart asking the two mothers to decide on which half of the child they wanted to go home with. The difference between "punitive", "authorative", "dictatorial" decisions and "constructive" ones?? I guess there will be a lot of measurments done in the area in the future, with little cost to neither EU nor Sellafield, and, who knows, some extra awareness and limited production on the producing side?? Ilmarinen Btw, in terms of "the tradegy of the commons" and fishing, check up on why Norway didn't join EU, not just oil but also fishing, although the Iceland fish-war was sexier, with all these big boats bumping into each other. Also issues like the poor spanish fishermen and why did the cod totally disappear from the west side of the atlantic", all those now rusting investments on that side of the pond, waiting for small cod boys and girls from Norway to maybe slowly immigeate and rebreed, maybe?? (to my knowledge some interbreeding must have happened, the question if it will happen again in a hundred, thousand or a million of years) I have always wondered if Reagan+Thatcher had some special problem with fish?? Not just Bush Sr and Broccoli, not to forget what the broccoli is fertilized with, raw or composted sewage, heavy metals and all?? "true property rights seem to reach some limits, radioactive or just regular roaming fish?? (all of above have some connection (bless Burke and BBC) with the ability to handle risks and the possible futures, just like regular investing)
