Inflation is the FRIEND of the politician because it causes tax bracket creep Indeed, that's why you see agreement by both major parties on minimum wage increases and why I'm not Republican. It is one of the biggest rip-offs of the lower classes there is. When I told my staff we have to begin to prepare for another round of minimum wage increases you know what they did? They winced. I asked them why they were reacting that way and they said that everytime the wages go up a little, the cost of the things they ned to buy to live goes up a lot. It's frustrating.....
