Seems like shorting INTC can fix that, no?

That way you protect yourself against the fall in the semi/computer sector, and still live plenty of head room in case all the goodies you anticipate about AMD comes true. INTC can pull AMD up or down, but I do not see it the other way.

My guess is that the SOX is about to take a serious plunge.

Good point. AMD should be able to keep gradually rising ASPs, as well as increasing units.

And AMD's SMP products will at least force Intel to be modest in the pricing of their own workstation / server products - limiting Intel's ability to cross-subsidize.

The only concern I have about AMD is Intel's overvaluation and what will happen to AMD when it corrects

Or the whole market could just tank if this economy doesn't bounce back in a few minutes - which, I'm afraid, is the expectation of many investors.
