ATT Worldnet is new? Your wires are crossed. won't take years. Maybe several weeks.

But your are correct they have BIG network skills.

On that note rd.yahoo.com*http://www.marketwatch.com/news/yhoo/story.asp?source=blq/yhoo&siteid=yhoo&dist=yhoo&guid=%7BBF552B8B%2D712F%2D4DBF%2D8B85%2D210C4F90D6C9%7D

but it's gonna take awhile to iron the wrinkles

Don't hold yer breath. T is my DSL provider and has been for a couple years. I'm still waiting for them to get the wrinkles out. One good thing, now that Comcast is taking over their own network I might finally be able to get cable at my studio and kiss T goodbye forever.

T put this thing together real fast...and fast can make for sloppy. Count on this network being buggy for awhile...and real buggy for the first month or so. @home had years to get the bugs out...T really kicked into gear on this in Mid-October...no way is it gonna be smooth right away. Just the way it is...those T guys probly bustin arse to get it right, and they got network skills, but it's gonna take awhile to iron the wrinkles, IMO.

But remember that T sent in their senior propeller-head earlier this year. He spent all of ATHM's money and left with all of the technical specs for the network. ATHM spent a couple of months compiling requirements documents, functional and technical specs which he took with him when he went back.
