The math says AMD saw production output from between 2000 and 2500 wafers from Dresden this quarter (5 to 6.5 million units).

We can back this out of the known, confirmed, data point for useable die per wafer.

Why don't you find a link to a publicly acknowledged useable die per wafer figure from Intel? Particularly on their copper process? Or even on their Aluminum process at 217mm2.

Prior to your limiting case post for AMD (speculating on some rather low yields), I posted that general indications were that the two companies had roughly similar yields, with AMD likely having somewhat better yields - which would be just about inevitable since AMD doesn't have to try to FAB large quantities of huge 217mm2 die.

Why not just leave it at that?
