The Palestinians have tripped up in their own propaganda.

Hasan Rahman, spokesman for Arafat said that "Israel should stop its policy of assassinating Palestinian community leaders"

Israel has been deliberately targeting Palestinian terrorist leaders.

Arafat's police have a flashy show, picking up over 100 supposed terrorists. They are pretending to be arresting the terrorist leaders, but they are now admitting that the Palestinian leaders are their "community leaders" (aka: government leaders) and thusly, they are protecting them, and not arresting them.

The blood of the recent terrorists attacks lies squarely at the feet of Arafat and his henchmen.

to nadine carroll, which parts of haims post do you see as 'zionist propaganda' ?

First of all, biblical points: Where does the 1312 bce date come from? Most scholars put the Exodus at about 1250 bce. King David didn't found Jerusalem; he took it from the Jebusites. Minor things, but why give fuel to anti-Semites?

Second, the basic denial of an Arab presence in Palestine before Zionism. Palestine may have been sparsely populated and badly ruled, but it wasn't unhabited and the majority population were Arabs, mostly Muslim with a Christian minority. There was lots of immigration during 1880-1947 but there was lots of natural increase too.

Third, the refusal to face up to Palestinian nationalism. The Palestinian history of the "country of Palestine" may be bogus but that doesn't mean that Palestinian nationalism doesn't exist now. Wishing won't make it go away, any more than Arab wishing will make the Israelis go away.
