Well KT- As you admitted, Miami didn't play the toughest schedule either- so who knows if they should really be in the Final either. If you're not going to take the two teams with the best records, then you might as well go back to the old way of deciding the Nat'l champion- by poll. Because that's what they are in effect doing here. Basing it on what people think is the toughest schedule, etc. All those computer programs are really just based on the writer's opinion.

Play em' off, I say. Take the teams with the top 8 rankings and have a 3 game playoff starting mid-Dec. and finishing on New Year's. Last one standing wins. Undisputed. (cep't for that 9th place team that didn't get in the tourney.) <g>

My vote for top 2 teams at the moment would be Colorado and Illinois.
