After the US convicts the Taliban loving John Walker for treason, he should be forced to watch DELL's mom-centric commercial over and over. Not a "dad" anywhere to be seen.

I never get a warm and fuzzy feeling viewing GTW's ads, but here's my bias; I was never a fan of the bald ponytail look on middle aged men.

Regarding DELL: Fortuna issued a note today.

Dell's Q4 'looking good': Merrill Lynch (DELL) By Tomi Kilgore
Dell Computer (DELL) is edging up 19 cents to $27.85 after Merrill Lynch analyst Steven Fortuna said early indications of the PC maker's fiscal fourth quarter were "looking good." He said his research indicates the company is on track to meet his expectations for revenue of $7.53 billion and earnings of 16 cents a share. "We believe that Dell's consumer business got off to a very solid start in November and then saw a seasonal post-Thanksgiving uptick," Fortuna said in a note to clients. "On the corporate side, Dell's orders appear to be roughly in line with expectations, albeit at a weak level." Among other PC issues, Compaq Computer (CPQ) is adding 43 cents to $10.58, Hewlett-Packard (HWP) is 62-cents better at $22.11, Gateway (GTW) is slipping 17 cents to $9.39, Apple Computer (AAPL) is tacking on 7 cneets to $21.12 and IBM (IBM) is down 23 cents at $113.90.

Ted doesn't know the difference between a cow and a bull.

The cow speaks with a male voice and the camera angles are to prevent showing it is a cow.

I am waiting for the commercial with Ted milking a cow with a male voice.
