Anyone buying into Enron at this time for a buy and hold are going to lose,imo.
Even IF they succeed in reviving some of their power trading they are going to fail-they will now just be a small operation with still tons and tons of debt---they are doomed,imo.
Plus if Dynergy wins their case regards NNGpipeline---Enron is Chapter 7.
Overall legal opinion says they get whipped in court.Max

Yup. And it doesn't hurt to have deep pockets and the ability to ride out bull moves. Asenio certainly comes to mind.

Still though. Too much knowledge can be a "bad" thing. I was one who rode the tech bull because I was largely ignorant of the fundamentals. Fortunately, I wised up in time. I'm sure alot of savy shorts were absulutely crushed shorting the Yahoos and Amazons and Enrons and stubbornly held on because the fundamentals looked so bad,
