I have a DHCP and firewall combination running on an old Dell Optiplex with two ethernet cards feeding into a Linksys router. Works great, the outside world can only see the old machine on scans while I and friends can play as a team on internet games. I didn't bother to tell the cable company and so far they haven't asked. Once every X-box is online the cable company will need to expand bandwidth or really start to slow.
