Wow, great point, Max. The OBV does seem to do some head-fakes with that line sometimes, but the sharp drop from the such a high peak seems to coincide with a drop to a low rather than a drop to a re-trace. However, I only looked back over 2000 and 2001, and that is not enough to draw a conclusion. I wonder if you have any other background on how to apply the 30-day MA for the OBV to market movement?
