"Until such questions are answered, doubt will linger over the claims that the teachings of Islam inspire peacefulness, non-violence, and good will."

On the one hand we look for people to say "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" In this sense everyone who hates terrorism should be friends in this campaign against the Al-Quaida. And the leaders of the neighboring countries have condemned Terrorism.

On the other hand, the leaders in the neighboring countries is also composed of oppressive tyranny and the Al-Quaida has in some cases represents the robin hood for the oppressed. There are revolutionary groups waiting in the wings to overthrow their oppressors in various regions. Unfortunately they also represent extremism to us. These groups often see the US in support of these oppressive tyrannies. The people of the world are riding the fense and watching CNN just like you and I. What will happen next? Will the US throw its support to the people of Afghanistan to have a government of the people or will we open the door for a new oppressive group to take over? Is it a wolf at the door or a neighbor bringing apple pie? There is propaganda flying in both directions. People are simply being cautious, not wanting to be food for the wolves.

This is why the other two arms of our efforts (educational awareness and intelligence) must be as effective as our military attacks.
