I liked these:

PerkinElmer spokesman Kevin Lorenc said the company has an
``ongoing relationship'' with the FAA

``We're looking for something that costs like $300,000,'' she said. The machines being used now cost more than $1 million each.

The FAA has given grants to companies including PerkinElmer
to help develop explosive detection systems

This one has just about run it's course !

The FAA is corrupt.
They have yet to approve a system that actually detected the advanced explosive devices.
Meanwhile, US Customs, The White House, ElAl Airlines among others choose to use a technology the crims at FAA refuse to approve.
Wonder why?
