Paul, re Ellison holding development work on Intel based servers at highest priority, he didn't tell me directly, but, apparently he is impressed with the growth history and ongoing growth potential for Intel based servers as built by Compaq, Dell, IBM, HP, etc. He also sees things like the recent data showing IA server sales holding up better than Sun servers.

Are these the high growth platforms?

Yes, assuming you mean PIII, Xeon, and hopefully Itanium based, plus 64 bit Unix servers like Compaq Tru64 and HP UX (which become Intel over time also). I'm sure Sun is still up there in priority with Ellison too, but no higher than those others.
