Here is a strategy that can generate a net profit:

1) Have some indicator signal upward momentum on say a 15-minute time scale

2) Have another indicator signal weakness on say a 1-minute time scale

3) Go long with a trailing stop

4) Avoid using stochastics, moving averages, MACD, Bollinger Bands and other oscillators

5) Using price patterns and only trade the best patterns (patterns could be candlestick patterns, but I know of no studies indicating their usefulness)

Test it extensively before trading real money. It's much easier to develop an unprofitable system than a profitable system.

Ok, I am back

After spending a lot of time
working on things that i
consider neccesary to successful
day trade the QQQ.

I think and hope that i will do
a much better job then before.

I will post my daily results
and to one degree or the other
will post message concerning the trading.

Anyone daytrading the QQQ
is welcome to post on this thread

I feel that exposing my results in
such a public and critical forum
can not but help improve my trading
