Isn't "win" something new you gain, rather than maintaining status quo? Otherwise, you should call the lines that have been replaced as losses.

On the Itanium side, those would be wins, since they are not necessarily replacing existing lines, but gaining potentially new market for Intel. But with Itanium, I think you should count those only when they actually start selling.

Compaq obviously hasn't sold a single Itanium, since they were stuck with bugs until last week, and the Dell guy said there is absolutely no demand for Itanium based machines from customers.
