segway.com

I probably can't afford a $3000 toy, but I'd pay a few bucks just to ride one for a couple of hours, looks like fun.

Hi Hank, >"an amphibious Segway..."
Now, there's a whole 'nother product - that's a great idea. I've been looking to buy a 6-wheel or 8-wheel amphib, but it occurs to me that some sort of uniball or etc. with embedded mprocessor stabilization could improve stability dramatically.

I remember when Queen Elizabeth II type liners added the outboard stabilizers for that huge passenger ship. Microprocessor software and rapid reaction time of the Segway could maybe do the same for small water craft.

<<However, I would still buy one just because it looks fun. >>

Then I guess the cost Vs. worth equation is of no issue in your life?

Yeah, thanks, I just checked it out, and think someone should answer for this obvious LIE:

"As Segway Human Transporter (HT) changes the way you work, shop, commute, and explore, it also gives you the power to change the world around you. Some of these changes will affect your neighborhood, some will affect the world at large"

When will the lien between advertising & lying to the public become less blurred? How can anyone expect to "change the world" when their entire premise is based on such false-hood?

How are you going to "change the world" with something you describe as fun?
