EU urges Israel not to destroy Palestinian Authority Why am I not surprised... I saw the news reports on French France-2 and France-3 evening newscasts of the Israeli retaliation... lots of Palestinians running in all directions amid smoke and debris, with the odd body laying inert in the street. Looked like just the thing to waken the world's sympathy for the plight the Israelis find themselves in with the terrorist attacks they've just suffered, Not. It sounds to me though that some smart psychological warfare is being waged, with the pinning of Arafat to the ground. As someone observed on the Foreign Affairs thread, Arafat has caressed the genie terrorism bottle just one time too many.
