OK....if the tax laws were written for the poor it would take only one page which would say...you earned x amount of money, you owe x amount of tax. Instead we have a room full of volumes of tax laws written with loop holes for more well off individuals which people who merely own a home and get a mortgage interest writeoff. On the corporate scale, a company has to be almost totally stupid to pay any taxes at all since there are some tax laws to benefit them in even idividual situations.

I have the theory that the rules of war were negotiated the same way.....the guys who can have any weapon they want outlaw weapons that even underdeveloped or renegades can manufacture or develop. I hasten to add that I support the Geneva Convention because I think that some weapons are more inhumane than others .....
