The Trend is your friend until it break hard against you <ggg>

The Bullish readings you posted , I have noticed as well. I did ride the trend for the majority of the ride up while the Bull readings were weak, I did also say I would step aside as soon as the Bull reading got too high. That is why I have stepped aside since Nov 14, trend or no trend.

Call it Doom and Gloom , but one cannot trade the markets while looking at the big picture from a small hole poked into a piece of paper. I would rather see the larger view by removing that piece of paper away from my view and using all senses .

What would this thread become if i only gave bullish commentary. Hell, that would make Eva downright miserable not being able to have me on her side every 2 - 3 months <gggg> .

I pounded the table to buy when the markets were gloomy in Sept, now that everyone is cheery again, its time to get back to the obvious that we have a long road ahead to recovery and many more pitfalls to overcome yet. Tread if must but thead lightly and be nimble. Whichever way this market breaks out of this consolidation will be quick and hard.

Don't misunderstand me, I am not the bear you guys perceive me to be , I change with the rolls of the market. I often look behind the scenes and way heavily the risk / rewards and calculate odds. At this jucture , the odds of a setback are much much larger than they were since end of Sept.

That is just one mans humble opinion, don;t kill the messenger <gggg>

Bulls and Bears are able to fight each other quicker due to technology(internet trading..instant news) so comparisons to the past way of trading and logevity of Bulls and Bear cycle does not apply to the current market..11k on Dow possible by the years end.. pullback to 9500 before that also possible scenario..2% bank rate may fuel this mini bull untill the reality or another terrorist attack sinks in.Fortunately for me i followed the crowd and loaded up on mutual funds in October...so doing ok here...For the first time in History my DT account didnt beat my mutual funds performance!
