Today's announcement marks the first product in MicronPC's new line of NetFRAME servers -- the NetFRAME 3500.
This re-launch of the NetFRAME product line comes just two months after MicronPC announced it had achieved profitability for the first time in over two years. "Now that we have made progress in stabilizing the company's financial position, we are reinvesting in the business by introducing a new line of servers," said Mike Adkins, MicronPC president and CEO. MicronPC's NetFRAME 3500 is designed for small and medium businesses and government customers looking for an affordable, expandable and reliable server solution. The NetFRAME 3500 is a full-featured workgroup server offering a powerful set of features at an aggressive price. It is available with dual Pentium III processors, redundant hot swap power suppliers, 64 bit PCI slots, up to 10 hot-swap hard drives, and a convertible 5U pedestal or rack chassis. The NetFRAME 3500 can also be configured with Microsoft's Windows 2000 Server operating system.
